Spot Price vs. Buying Rate

The international spot price (XAU/USD) is the benchmark for gold traded on global markets. Our buying rate is set by the Fidelity Gold Refinery and tracks — but does not exactly match — the spot price.

Purity Matters

The spot price assumes 24-carat (99.9% pure) gold. Artisanal gold typically ranges from SG 14 to SG 19. Your payout is calculated against the assayed purity of your specific parcel.

USD Cash Payments

All Zim Gold Trading purchases are settled in USD cash on the same day. Our rates are updated daily to reflect the prevailing Fidelity Gold Refinery benchmark.
